ITI Technician Eligibility

Technician Grade 1 – Electrical

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Maximum age: 28 years.
• ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical.
• The qualification must be from a recognized institution / authority as prescribed.
• Age and qualification are reckoned as on 12 October 2026.

Technician Grade 1 – Mechanical

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Maximum age: 28 years.
• ITI Trade Certificate in Mechanical.
• The qualification must be from a recognized institution / authority as prescribed.
• Age and qualification are reckoned as on 12 October 2026.

Technical Attendant Grade 1 Eligibility

• Matriculation / 10th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• A two-year ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical is desirable.
• Maximum age: 30 years.
• Minimum age: 18 years.

Age Limit

The minimum age for these posts is 18 years. Upper-age relaxation is available to eligible reserved categories according to Government of India rules.
