Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), a Miniratna-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. 03/Rectt./2026 for recruitment to various Non-Executive posts.

ITI Candidates – Important Posts

The following MECL posts are particularly relevant to ITI candidates. Candidates must satisfy the complete qualification, experience and certificate requirements for the individual post.

Educational Qualification

MECL has prescribed different educational qualifications for different posts. Depending on the post, candidates may require ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.Com., graduation, BCA/Computer qualification, CA/ICWA Intermediate or other specified qualifications.

Technical / ITI Posts

• Technician (Survey): ITI in Survey or Diploma in Survey.
• Electrician: ITI in Electrical or Diploma in Electrical, with prescribed Wireman Certificate and experience.
• Machinist: ITI in Turner, Machinist, Miller or Grinder, or prescribed Diploma.
• Technician (Drilling): ITI in Mechanic or Fitter, or prescribed Diploma, along with the required HMV licence and experience.
• Mechanic: ITI in Diesel, Motor Mechanic or Fitter, or prescribed Diploma, along with HMV licence and experience.
• Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling): ITI in EMM, Diesel, Motor Mechanic or Fitter, or prescribed Diploma.

Other Educational Qualifications

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years for the Non-Executive posts under this recruitment, subject to the post-specific conditions.

The eligibility cut-off date for age, qualification and experience is 1 September 2026.

MECL Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the applicable IDA pay scale. MECL's official career information provides the Non-Executive IDA scales from W-1 to W-8.
