ITI Trade-wise Eligibility

1. Electrician – 7 Posts

• 10th / Matriculation or equivalent.
• ITI in Electrical trade.
• Valid Wireman Certificate as prescribed.
• Relevant post-qualification experience is prescribed for the post.
• Maximum age: 30 years, subject to applicable relaxation.

2. Machinist – 2 Posts

• 10th / Matriculation or equivalent.
• ITI certificate in Turner, Machinist, Grinder or Miller trade.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in workshop / machinist-related work is prescribed.
• Maximum age: 30 years, subject to applicable relaxation.

3. Technician – Drilling – 12 Posts

• 10th / Matriculation or equivalent.
• ITI in Mechanical / Earth Moving Machinery, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter trade.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in drilling work is prescribed.
• Maximum age: 30 years, subject to applicable relaxation.

4. Mechanic – 1 Post

• 10th / Matriculation or equivalent.
• ITI in Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter trade.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter work is prescribed.
• Maximum age: 30 years, subject to applicable relaxation.

5. Mechanic-cum-Operator – Drilling – 30 Posts

• 10th / Matriculation or equivalent.
• ITI in Mechanic Earth Moving Machinery (EMM), Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter trade, as prescribed.
• Relevant experience in Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Fitter or drilling work is prescribed.
• Maximum age: 30 years, subject to applicable relaxation.

6. Technician – Survey – 12 Posts

• 10th / Matriculation or equivalent.
• ITI / Diploma in Survey as prescribed for the post.
• Relevant experience in survey work is prescribed.
• Maximum age: 30 years, subject to applicable relaxation.

MECL Salary / Pay Scale

In addition to basic pay, employees are eligible for applicable IDA, HRA, benefits and other allowances according to MECL rules.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for most Non-Executive posts is 30 years as on 01 September 2026.

Age relaxation is available to eligible SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories according to the applicable Government rules and MECL recruitment conditions.
