Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: 10th pass (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks + ITI in relevant trade from a recognized institute (SCVT/NCVT).
- Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 1 July 2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PwD – 10 years
Selection Process:
- Selection will be made on the basis of merit list prepared considering the marks obtained in 10th class and ITI.
- No written test or interview will be conducted.
Training Period:
As per Apprenticeship norms – typically 1 to 2 years depending on the trade.
Stipend:
As per the Apprenticeship Act guidelines and Railway Board norms (generally between ₹7,000 – ₹9,000 per month).
