How to prepare for interview

If we get to know the objective then it is easy to achieve the goal. In this context, it is expected for all the contestants interviewed to imbibe the fact that why the interview is done. If you get the information of 'why', which can be ascertained by getting the information of 'how', they have to prepare for 'what'.

In fact, the interview is done to assess the competitor's competence for the applied position. Since this assessment is done by experts in the concerned subjects, candidates are expected not to give misleading answers on the basis of superficial knowledge. It would be better if at the time of applying for the posts available under the state service, get knowledge of the nature and requirements of those posts and earn knowledge of all possible areas for its fulfillment.
It is often seen that during the interview the first question is asked to the candidate as to why he has chosen the field of civil service or why he is applying for the post applied for.

Candidates should have a meaningful answer to this. Answers like mere country service, social service are not enough. Until the candidates do not know what kind of questions will be asked or what will be done in the interview, they will not be able to prepare fully for it. All the members of its board are experts in their respective fields and are very serious about taking interviews. They interview in a tone of conversation in a natural way to confuse the candidates. Their objective is to assess the candidates' response, behavior, belief, determination, positivity, negativity, interest, decision making ability, background etc. They prefer the answer of the candidates not knowing the answer to the question honestly, instead of avoiding confusing answers, because they also know that no person is omniscient.
Confidence and a certain attitude is most important when answering during an interview. If the question is analyzed and given logical answers, then the interviewer is definitely affected. Yes, it does not require much knowledge, because the list of marks of the main examination is already available to them as proof of your knowledge. There is a high probability of selecting a reticent candidate rather than fidgeting in the interview, as he can satisfy the interviewee by answering as many questions as possible in the 15-20 minutes scheduled for the interview.
Only the thematic knowledge is not taken at the time of interview. Information about your state, its political, social, geographical location should be as much as possible and along with the knowledge of current affairs, the solution of problems is also considered to be adequate. As much as intellectual knowledge is necessary for the interview, so much practical knowledge is also necessary, because all posts related to civil service are under public interest and public relations.
Therefore, the candidates of these posts are expected to have their vision in accordance with the public interest and welfare sentiments. In addition to intelligence, behavior, the candidate's gestures, costumes and reaction are also assessed in the interview.
