During the time of seeking a job or due to excessive ambition, candidates often give such information related to qualifications that they do not have. When the reality is revealed, they are deprived of jobs, the road ahead of them also becomes difficult. Sanjeev Chand's report on this issue

According to a survey by Shine.com, at present, most of the institutes are facing the problem of errors in education related certificates given by their employees. On joining one company and leaving the other, there is a big difference in the information given in both. It is true that companies take the last three-four years of experience, educational qualifications and last 4-5 years of address while giving jobs, but most companies take a flexible approach when joining someone in senior position. They form the basis of the candidate's profile and package. The survey shows that not only India, but also developed countries like UK and USA have more number of such candidates who exaggerate their achievements, experience and educational qualifications in bio-data. Their faults are later exposed during verification. These negative verification reports not only lose their jobs, but also tarnish their reputation in the industry.

Lie made things difficult
Due to fierce competition in globalization and job market, every company wants to hire skilled and talented employees. People looking for jobs many times more than the number of jobs in the country. About 23 lakh graduates are born in the country every year, but most of them do not get jobs according to their studies and skills.

According to a report by HR Consulting Man Power, 61 percent of the positions in Indian companies are vacant. Most opportunities exist in sectors such as sales, IT, accounting, finance and office support. The right talent is not available in them, because at the time of application, candidates are exaggerating their achievements or giving false information.

Give correct information in resume
In search of getting a good job, candidates often give misleading information in their resumes. Due to this, they also have to face embarrassment. Make a clear mention of each point, avoid copying others' CVs.

A 32-year-old Rohan (name changed) was booked for dismissal and fraud on being caught while doing a teacher's job on the basis of a fake B.Ed. degree. He is absconding today to escape from the police. This may be just one example, but innumerable people like Rohan commit this kind of fraud. A good job can be achieved by giving incorrect information in the resume, but the risk of action along with leaving the job when caught is hovering.

Employees who get jobs by giving false information may not have the intention to harm the company, but it can deeply harm its strategy and tradition. On getting a job by giving false information, the company has to invest money in training of unqualified professionals before investing in their project. This may cause them huge financial loss.

Deadly in terms of company security
Putting any such person who has given false information about himself in a responsible position can be fatal to the safety of the company. Since companies are at risk of leaking confidential information or data, most companies conduct a thorough investigation before assigning significant responsibility to a person. No company ever wants to give jobs to such people, whose foundation has been laid on the basis of lies.

Getting online monitoring
Nowadays many such apps are in operation, through which candidates can send their qualifications, experience and other details online. For this, both the applicant and the employer have to be registered. Through this ID number, they can complete the verification of the candidate. This app will soon play an important role in the process of hiring people through social media 'digital talent pool'. Companies are also using applicant tracking systems, which analyze CVs.

Problem arising out of unemployment
According to a survey, about 90 percent of the jobs being created in India require special skills. Its training is not available in school-college or institute, hence large population is facing the brunt of unemployment. In the desire to get a job quickly, candidates often try to get a job by giving false information or try to hide their negative aspects.
