Cochin Shipyard Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has invited applications for engagement of 210 apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

The recruitment includes 205 ITI Trade Apprentice seats across 16 trades and 5 Technician (Vocational) Apprentice seats. Eligible ITI candidates can apply for trades including Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Pipe Fitter/Plumber, Marine Fitter, Mechanic Diesel and others.

ITI Eligibility Criteria

For the 205 ITI Trade Apprentice seats, candidates must satisfy the qualification requirements prescribed by Cochin Shipyard.

• Passed 10th standard / Xth.
• Passed the relevant ITI trade.
• ITI qualification must be a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT or the applicable recognized authority.
• The ITI trade must correspond to the designated CSL apprenticeship trade.
• Candidate must satisfy the prescribed Kerala domicile requirement.
• Candidate must be at least 18 years old on the crucial date.
