Roles and Responsibilities

The National Intelligence Grid or NATGRID isthe integrated intelligence master database structure for counter-terrorism purpose connecting databases of various core security agencies under Government of India collecting comprehensive patterns procured from 21 different organizations that can be readily accessed by security agencies round the clock.

Job Location: New Delhi

Role:Enterprise Architect - Application

Job Purpose:
Key Roles and responsibilities:
a) Work with SI for designing the NATGRID application portfolio after understanding the requirements of end users and maturity levels of the IT architecture of data providers.
b) Responsible for identification of techniques and technologies that should be applied at the application level, and definition of the systems and operational requirements that the technical infrastructure must support.
c) Work with SI for designing and detailing the Application Architecture for project solutions, as a part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
d) Responsible for validating and ensuring that the application design is in line with the Enterprise Security, Information and Infrastructure Architecture.
e) Work with SI and division for development and maintenance of current state architecture, future state models, and transition steps for Applications and for identifying potential application reuse opportunities.
f) Provide technical support to the SI and divisions, team from the vendors etc. for implementation of the blueprint, as and when required.
Responsible for the design and building of NATGRID’s applications architecture, deploying application life cycle strategies for acquisition, enhancement, replacement, consolidation and retirement of applications.
Responsible for in-house development/documentation architecture regarding universal connectors and other in-house developed software's.
Educational Qualifications :

Essential :

BE/B.Tech./MCA/MSc. from a recognized university.

Desirable :

Post-Graduate Degree in Electrical/ Electronics / Communications/Computer Science from a recognized University/Institution

Experience :

Essential :

(i) Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT function

/ domain.

(ii) Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT application

architecture design.

(iii) Experience in managing the development of

IT applications using Software Development
