Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is an executive agency of the Union Government of the Republic of India. It was carved out of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on 19 July 2016 as a standalone ministerial agency responsible for IT policy, strategy and development of electronics industry.
The work for developing and mandating standards for electronics goods is in advanced stage and the "Electronics & IT Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012" Phase - V has been notified. As on date 63 electronics and IT product categories have been notified.
In order to facilitate the same for the following technical resources are to be deployed.
